Typing Agent is perfect for all grades K-12. There are four age groups. K2 Adventure for the K-2nd graders, Adventure Junior, Adventure for the 4th-5th graders and Agent for the 6th-12th graders and adults. Each group contains its own curriculum which is customizable and games that are appropriate for those grades.

Does the program meet ISTE Standards?

Yes! Here are a few examples of what TA brings to the table: Nets standards like Creativity and Innovation are used in the creative writing of AgentBook. Communication and Collaboration: Typing Agent not only provides students with the speed and accuracy to communicate effectively- we actually do it in the program. Students can post messages, play multiplayer games, and share scores. Research and Information Fluency are seen in the curriculum they type that is directly related to many of the things they are studying in history or science for each grade level. Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Decision Making are woven throughout the program. There are puzzles to solve and strategy in our multiplayer game. Critical thinking skills can easily be established in the program.

iPad Compatible?

YES!!

The only online typing tutor that is. The teacher admin works great with the iPad iOS7 and the entire program was designed to accommodate devices like this with navigation that is as easy to use on a PC as it is on a tablet. Many of the games are not compatible at this time, but we will be updating those as we go. We are building new HTML5 capabilities that will make it even more compliant with a wide range of devices.
